About

As a community owned enterprise, Low Carbon Gordano represents a new vision for ownership of our energy supplies. A vision that allows local people to own and profit from the development of renewable energy resources.

In 2014 we undertook a successful community share offer and raised £2.2 million pounds to build the 1.8MW Moorhouse Farm Solar Array    In 2015 we raised a further £970,000 to build the 970kW array at Ham Lane, Kingston Seymour, in North Somerset.  With the surplus from these two schemes we installed three community roof solar schemes at the end of 2015. We would like to thank everyone who invested in these schemes and welcome them as members.

LCG is working in partnership with Mongoose Energy who provide us with development and support services.

New opportunities to invest in community owned renewable energy schemes will be posted on this website or you can send an email to contact@lowcarbongordano.co.uk registering your interest and we will keep you posted.
